Well, those of you who see me all the time don't really need my silhouetted belly, but maybe those who don't want to? Or at least now you have a chance. The first picture of Mark and I is at 24 wks and the latter at 28 wks (just yesterday actually).

SHE is poking around my ribs as I type. I purposely wore the same sweater and pants for the shoot (though I no longer wear them) because I did in one of my earlier belly shots. Interesting and amazing all these fun changes!

We felt like posting something. So here is something. We had kids recently. One of them had a hard start. Julie brought him into the house to help him. Dundee played mother.

There are Three of them. They are bigger now, but it is fun to sit with them. They like to play, "I'm a big tough goat!" right on top of you. The goal is to show everyone how tough you are by climbing the highest on the people. Then jumping off, or falling off and making it look like you jumped off.

Molly tried to have a kid as well, but things didn't work out. More accuratly the baby was to big to work out so the vet got involved. In the end the kid didn't make it and Molly got a strange hair cut around the mid section. It was the coldest part of winter, so we put a sweater on her for a while.

We had left over sleeves from the sweater so we tortured the cats.

Spring is here! (by: Jennifer)

We looked out the window this morning, and what did we see? Popcorn Popping on our Apricot tree! Andrew, Jacob and I, stood looking out the window this morning with our hands shaped into binoculars this morning and we sang a few rounds of "Popcorn Popping" as we looked at the new blossoms out the window. Daily Andrew has been having me go out with him so we can "look for signs of spring." With each flower or opening bud we find he shouts with Jacob,
"Hurray! It's Spring, its Spring!" We are excited about the new season coming and the boys are already asking if they can go swimming.
"It's not summer yet!" I tell them.

Valentines day was fun. The boys spent that morning covering our walls, Doors, and even the fish tank with paper Hearts, while I sat cutting them out.
"More, More! "they were chanting, until there were at least a hundred hearts of different sizes all around. then we recieved valentines from Nana and Papa, and Darian and Wade, and then Delivered The valentines the boys had made a few days before. We even recieved some valentine cookies from Amaya. It was a fun day, and Andrew still tries to convince me,
"Mom, It's going to be Valentines day tomarrow!"

I have Pictures, but I can't seem to find the plug that connects my camera to the computer so....maybe if i find it later I'll post a couple.

I want to also make a couple book recommendations. I mostly recommend these to Julie, who I think would enjoy these, but also to anyone who's interested.
I really love the movie, Howl's Moving Castle so I thought it would be fun to read the book since books usually have much more to the story that movie versions. So I read the book "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones with Michael and i really enjoyed it! There was so much more brought into the story that wasn't in the movie that was very enjoyable, and really help you understand the movie better. All the why's behind everyone etc.
Also My next read, which was The Castle in the Air, by Diana Wynne Jones, I also recommend and really enjoyed as much, if not more than the first. It is the sequel to Howl's moving castle, though it is its very own story in it's own.
I would love to hear recommendations on books from anyone else! I"m always looking for my next book to read , and I'd love to hear what you guys have enjoyed! : )

I keep hoping..

I keep hoping that someone is going to take a little time to share something, anything with the rest of us. I log on and... nothing still. I guess febuary has taken us by surprise! Dad's 61st birthday is just around the corner- monday. Followed by Seena's and then Isa's I believe. Aren't birthdays fun? I just read in a magazine- an ad for something though I don't recall what- it read, "Who needs birthdays? Just celebrate the cake." I thought it could be made into a cute card for the right person.
Speaking of cute homeade cards, both Ivy and Isa used their cute maker skills this valentines.
As long as we are speaking of cuteness... both Ekik and Ali have begun crawling and Amaya was so excited about her letters and their sounds that she even showed off for Mark and I. I guess she was performing and it ws more the Boy and Isa showing off. I can't think of a better thing to show off!
The construction of the chicken house is moving right along. Dad says that he learned a lot about building it the last time. I think he would be all ready to build 41/2 too.
I'm also excited for when Jennifer and Michael post about their remoldeling! There has been fixing and painting and buying and planting and lighting and recovering!
Ivy has quite the turtle habitat to share with us and even provided our own live in turtle hider with a few minnows- or do I have guppies? Hider does not eat them...yet, but they do add some excitement to the tank.
Mom and Dad just went to uncle Llyod's funeral and if you haven't talked to them about it yet- you should. Mom is also a very good example of a dedicated missionary. While I am reminded of it we should also really consider stretching a bit to give away those special ensigns as gifts.
Annie looks really cute in her various nursing duds and should share them too.
I am particulary grateful to Alison for sharing with baby girl and to Isa and Jennifer for sharing with her mommy. Also to the Davenports for sending the fun filled package who's contents are being viewed as I exercise the treadmill. I find that if my mind is not thinking about it I don't mind so much the swinging of arms and legs. Also, I can't tell much of a difference- meaning I don't get any more tired- walking with a steep incline. The machine tells me it burns more calories. I also don't get so impatient waiting for the coffee cake to cook cause I use the treadmill as a timer as well.
Well, I will continue to hope and look and visit here.
Love,
Elisabeth
