"She's Mrs. Carpenter now"

I am so luck to get to stop in at Mom and Dad's for lunch every now and then and today we enjoyed yummy turkey mushroom sandwich melts (mine heavily vinegared)yummy! While we licked our chops and wiped the juice that ran down our elbows Dad said, "She's Mrs. Carpenter now." Mom and I turned to him and I must have looked like I needed an explanation, "Ivy" he further explained. Of course I knew to whom he referred. I'm sure many things were on his mind but it made me decide to make it known to the share show and tell blogging world. I LOVE MY LITTLEST SISTER! I think she is cute and curlers......and made a beautiful bride! I continue to keep her in my prayers and wish the very best of all happiness to her and all the exciting, mudane, important and meaningless parts of marriage!

New Arrival!

I thought maybe introductions would be nice. As far as I know she doesn't have a name- maybe you have some ideas.

Some of Dad's conference notes he might not have shared with you.

Dad was watching the priesthood session of conference (he said it was very good- I am sure that he would share his notes and thoughts with you) and when the camera scanned the BYU men's choir (was that it?) -he said a certain sort of saddness passed over him as he realized that never again would he be able to tease his daughters by picking out their future husbands among the singers. Would he pick someone tall? short? round? bald? with red hair and freckled faced? or the one that keeps contorting his face? Oh daddy! we would wriggle in our seats or maybe roll our eyes.
I suppose he will have to start looking for grandsons!

Bridal Shower

Everyone should cover themselves with bows and surround themselves with good friends.

Isn't she cute?
